Boy or Girl? At home gender test!!!
This morning I took the $30 IntelliGender test!! It is 82% accurate........the results were a little confusing at first! The majority of it was the girl color, but the very bottom of the tester was the boy color!! So I took some pics and went on their website and they had some sample pics to compare to, and the second I saw them I knew mine matched COMPLETELY with the girl!! The boys were all smokey green throughout the whole thing very dark and dominant!! The girls was orangish-yellow and all of them had that darker color at the bottom I guess where the chemicals/crystals had just settled or something! So for now I'm going with girl!! Guess we will find out April 19th if it was correct or not!! I'm not gonna go out and buy anything pink or purple just yet, I was for sure confirmation!! But I've talked to lots of people that have done the test and everyone so far says theirs was accurate!! Even if its wrong I don't think it was a wasted $30....it was fun anyways!! =)

Blog #1 Yes.....I am a blog virgin.....
Okay people bear with me.........as I'm feeling like Chris Harrison in his first "Bachelor/Bachelorette Blog" haha Anyways........I am 17 weeks prego now, yes I started this a little late, but better late than NEVER!!
First lets catch up on these last 17 weeks!! We found out we were expecting again December 28, 2009. It was kind of a shocker, but definitely a BLESSING!! We let it sink in a day for us, then decided to tell our VERY close friends and only immediate family. On New Year's Eve we had and "Ardemagni Style" party with lots of yummy Italian food & our families over. We told the rest of the crew that was unaware!! Chanlyr was 8 months old when we found out, they will be around 15-16 months apart (yes scary!!) lol As the weeks went on of course the news leaked out and by the time I was 10-12 weeks along pretty much everyone knew! My first appointment was January 18th at 3:15pm(8 wks).....not much excitement at this appointment, just confirmed me being prego, checked my weight & blood pressure....everything was great. I had to go back the next week January 25th for my prenatal appointment with the nurse, she re-checked my weight and I had lost 6 pounds in a WEEK! They checked my urine and it showed that my body was going into ketosis (I wasn't eating enough food & my body was eating my muscle) they said I needed to right away start drinking 64 oz of water each day, eating more protein, and just eating more in general to be able to grow this baby inside me AND continue to breastfeed Chanlyr!! So I did what they said (skip ahead a few weeks, Groundhog didn't see his shadow, Chan turned 9 months old, Valentine's Day came & passed).........my next appointment #2 was supposed to be February 15th, but I had to reschedule for the 18th at 2:30pm so we could make the 11 hour trip to Houston for my Uncle Bob's memorial that weekend. I went in the 18th (12 wks) and everything looked great again and I had gained back my long lost 6 pounds!! And my ketones were perfect again!! The week before our trip to Houston Chanlyr got really sick and would hardly eat/nurse, so my milk supply basically got cut in half!! So before we left for Houston I bought a can of Similac Advance Formula (just in case) and I ended up having to use it to feed his lil butt!! And he LOVED it!! So I started nursing him only at night.......I think that helped my ketones!! Anyways........back to new baby........this was the heart beat appointment, it was 168BPM!!! Much higher than Chanlyr's ever was!! (skip ahead some more.....my 25th birthday, Chanlyr turned 10 months old, his Nan's birthday). On March 12th I felt baby move for the first time!!! It was great! I missed that feeling =) Appointment #3 (16 wks) March 15th @ 8:45am, no weight gain (which was fine with Dr. Clouatre) blood pressure was great and baby's heartrate was 152BPM!! Said it was very early and maybe the baby just wasn't being active yet (he/she must not be a morning person just like Mommy!!) But that day they scheduled my next appointment for April 19th at 10am for my ultrasound and 11am for my regular appointment!!! I can't wait!!! So.......until next time......I'll be eating & growing more!! =)
